Today the resq-team went on an equine adventure. We mounted four trustworthy steeds (Itus, Mariah, Trixie, and Teddy Wayne) and took a little ride through Snow Canyon. We got to see where the peregrine falcons make their nests and two little falcon babies (that's a tidbit for you, Al). Our guide, Patty, felt compelled to identify every rock formation as some animal shape, causing both Ryan and I to roll our eyes. We couldn't go fifty feet without running into Miss Piggy's profile or a cowering rock bear. It was comedy. My horse, Trixie, was of course the one that kept going off trail and making her own way. Patty kept yelling things at me that I was supposed to do with the reins, but Trixie wasn't having it. The kids had a good time but my buttocks didn't escape unscathed.
